Confirm the exact medicine plan
Ask the treating team to confirm the medicine name, strength, schedule and whether it is taken with other treatment. Do not use an old prescription or another patient’s pack as a substitute for that confirmation.
Ask what information matters
Some prescriptions relate to test results, previous treatment or monitoring. Ask which reports or test results should stay with the prescription when the family is seeking information about access.
Know when to seek help urgently
Ask which symptoms, side effects or missed-dose situations need a prompt call to the treating team. A cross-border access request is never the right channel for urgent clinical advice.
