Start with local care
A request is not a substitute for local clinical care, a prescription, product registration or any required regulatory process. We do not state that a medicine can enter Kenya until the necessary case details and route have been assessed.
What a case-specific assessment covers
- The prescription, medicine name, strength and patient destination are checked first.
- We assess whether the medicine and documentation could support a lawful, case-specific route.
- If a route can be considered, the proposed medicine details, documentation needs, total cost and delivery arrangement are confirmed in writing before any offline payment decision.
- If we cannot confirm an appropriate route, we do not progress the request as a shipment.
Regulatory information
Kenya’s Pharmacy and Poisons Board regulates pharmaceutical products and trade. The applicable route must be checked for the individual medicine and case.
